Recently, we decided to become sponsors of the brilliant Saltdean United Women FC who have been making waves as they strive towards the National League.
At Prosure360, we believe in the power of people and technology. Although we are a software-driven business, our aim is to help people by making their lives easier and stress-free.
Doing social good is part of what we stand for and that’s why we’re sponsoring the first team and the Development Squad for Saltdean United Women FC. We feel that the club aligns with our core values and objectives, particularly in relation to our ESG goals.
We’re excited to see how the club performs this season and we’re thrilled to be supporting such a fantastic team.
What is the History of the Club?
The club was founded six years ago, in 2017, where they started at step 7 of the women’s football pyramid.
After partnering with Withdean Youth in 2020, the club was able to create a development squad. This creates a pathway to the first team, giving opportunities to up and comers.
After a year of training and successful results, the club were promoted to the South East Counties Premier Division in 2018.
Since their start in 2017, they have gone from strength to strength, going on to another promotion into the London and South East Premier.
The club also work closely with the sports college, BHASVIC, which is based in Brighton; many of their players come straight from the college into the development squad or the first team.
Where are the Club Now?
After a long journey of working their way up from the bottom, Saltdean United Women FC have now reached tier 5 of the Women’s football pyramid.
The club play in a division made up of 12 teams including Fulham, Dartford, Dulwich Hamlet, Millwall and others.
With how far the club have come over the past few years, their main goal now is to reach the National League.
Why did we decide to sponsor this club?
At Prosure360, we promote equality in every aspect of our work from our people to our clients and to the organisations we back.
It’s great to see a strong team rising through the ranks and we were excited about sponsoring a female team.
As we began to learn more about the club’s journey so far, we saw a perfect opportunity to show support.
Since the club were already looking for sponsors, it seemed like the perfect time for Prosure360 to step in.
